OMEGA - Interactive Tunnel - 50th Anniversary Speedmaster

DESCRIPTION

Interactive installation for the 50th anniversary of OMEGA Speedmaster - the first watch ever to be worn on the moon.

The idea was to design a spatial tunnel in order to invite people to visit the space and walk on the moon. A floor projection of 30 square meters surface provide the impression of walking on the moon. This was associated to 4 educational interactive windows triggered by the floor and telling the watch history, the moon odyssey, Nasa and Soyuz anecdotes and presenting the range of products.

The installation was held for one week at Siam Paragon

Spatial Window
When the user step on the logos projected on the floor a video appear in one of the window,meanwhile the large video keep playing.



Moon Floor
The image is modified according to the user position and gives the impression of walking on the moon. A camera and an infra-red sensor are placed next to the projector, analyse the position of the person and gives instruction to a computer.
