EVERY SEPARATION IS A LINK (2023)

If the moon had one influence and power in our lives, what would it be? This immersive installation combines art, science and technology to explore the influence of the moon's phases on the natural environment and the human state of mind.

Simone Weil's (French philosopher 1909-1943) profound statement that 'every separation is a connection' beautifully encapsulates the interconnectedness and profound communication within the natural world. It's an invitation to contemplate the complex web of relationships that exist, even between elements that seem so separate. An ode to the unity that can be found in the midst of apparent duality.

Come and contemplate the changes and the tangible link that the moon's gravitational pull creates between its light and the rhythmic movements of the waves of the sea, the volcano, the flora and the living.
